Ishan and his fleet of drivers provided my mum and I with an excellent and extraordinary service throughout our stay in Sri Lanka. Ishan provided us with the best prices around for each journey, so much so that his rates were unbeatable by anyone else I spoke to. He responded quickly to my questions and was able to make arrangements quickly especially when I wasn’t exactly sure of things like my departure time. He was also incredibly flexible even at short notice. So, for example, when I asked that a driver pick us up later than I’d initially planned he was able to accommodate the request despite how inconvenient I imagine it was for him. From the moment we arrived in Colombo to the moment we left, Ishan coordinated his drivers, helping us move from one city to the next (Colombo—Galle Fort—Udawalawe—Kandy—Negrombo). His drivers were all polite, considered, warm and friendly meeting our every need and being incredibly patient when we asked for stops to stretch our legs or just buy snacks! They are adept at navigating through Sri Lanka and always arrived early, helped us with our suitcases and made sure we were as comfortable as possible throughout our journey. They worked hard to make sure we were properly cared for and even showed us some beautiful sights that were along our route, the types of things we would have absolutely missed if we weren’t with people who knew what we’d be interested in and who were committed to going beyond the call of duty to put a smile on our faces. We also booked our safari trip through Ishan and had a brilliant time with our driver, Thilanka. Not only did we get to see some of the wildlife up close, I’d asked him to make the day extra special because I was doing it as a gift for my mum’s bday. He kindly arranged a cake for her which she cut in the park, making the day even more memorable. My mum was delighted and the driver even helped take photos of us which we were very grateful for. A very special shout out to Sadepa, Nipun and Chamara, they were absolutely brilliant, providing an excellent service on each trip.
